If the Hardware cannot located in two or more on location, the decision must be a kind of housing or outsourcing.

Expansion of the data centre often is no easy. Rooms around the data centre cannot be used due to their structure or they are used by other departments.

One solution is to rent data centre space. Several professional providers are offering data space from „part of a rack“ until many square feet.

The difference between outsourcing and housing is simple. Housing means only to rent. Only parts of the hardware have to be installed in this external location.

The costs for housing depend on the square feet and the level of security. Different provider is offering different levels to different costs.
